Questions and Answers
Useful Information
How old do you have to be?
Students can start as early as age 3 (or 2 if they're turning 3 during the school year) so long as they're potty-trained.
Do I have to commit right away?
The first class is free for all new students, but after that you would need to register in order to continue attending.
Do I just pay for the classes my child attends?
Unfortunately, no. Dance is a commitment, so classes are paid for regardless of attendance. That's why it's imperative to prioritize your children's classes and dance education.
How do I register?
You can register at the studio (707 Runyon St. Boone), or you can also reach out through the website (see the "Contact Us" tab). Download the registration form using the button at the bottom of this page.
What is the dress code?
Female students are asked to wear fitted dancewear. If they choose to wear booty shorts, tights are required. If they wear fitted capris or leggings, tights are not required. Male students are asked to wear athletic shorts/pants and a fitted shirt. Students with long hair will be asked to have it pulled back and out of their faces during class. For the safety of the students, socks are not permitted to be worn in place of shoes during class. To prevent slips and falls, if students do not have their dance shoes with them, they'll be asked to go barefoot.
When is the deadline to register?
In order to get the most out of your dance education, you are encouraged to register before classes begin in September - though early registration is always encouraged to help us determine class sizes and finalize the schedule. Your child is welcome to start during the dance year, but please be mindful that if they start too late in the year, they may not be prepared enough to perform in our recital.
